Tarun
Try out http://pool.ntp.org/ and select your continent, region, etc.So for Australia (going by your flag in your topic profile) you should use any of these:server 0.oceania.pool.ntp.orgserver 1.oceania.pool.ntp.orgserver 2.oceania.pool.ntp.orgserver 3.oceania.pool.ntp.org

cluberti
At this point, if it isn't working, I'd say getting a network trace (or making sure your router or ISP is allowing TCP port 123 outbound/inbound) would be a good starting point.http://www.techexams.net/blogs/jdmurray/sy...th-the-internet
rekees
i have made sure that the ports 123 tcp are opened, but stil no luck.
dandnsmith
I despaired of the Windows time sync stuff - and ended up using a simple little thing called nistime - the 32 bit version.I think some of my problems have been ISP dependent, as my Netgear router has problems as well. MrCobra
i did use nlite too slim down my xp...Then you more than likely removed the Windows Time Service. Without that, it won't update automatically.Maintains date and time synchronization on all clients and servers in the network. If this service is stopped, date and time synchronization will be unavailable. If this service is disabled, any services that explicitly depend on it will fail to start.
