April 27, 200818 yr Author I think that with vlite you have the posibility to add languages but not to remove them from the DVD. I tried to remove them with an .xml file but it doesn't work .

August 21, 200818 yr You need the Windows WAIKUse Windows system image manager and create the answer file for removal. In Package Node right click the Language you want to remove and Add to answer file.Detailed answer on Microsoft site: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc749497.aspx
August 23, 200818 yr Unless your pointer finger is broken it is rather simple to check the boxes for which languages you would like to remove in the removals section using vlite. Edited August 23, 200818 yr by arfett
August 27, 200817 yr I've noticed that using vlite 1.2 to remove languages causes file signature issues (thus, no boot). 1.1.6 did not have these issues.However, using the WAIK is pretty easy, and it doesn't break the image like vlite seems to (and it's not 100%, but it's more than 50% of images that end up this way).
