nLite v1.4.5beta2 / XPSP2 - Timezone bug

twig

Recommended Posts

Hi there

Great software, been playing around with it for the past few hours.

I've noticed that the timezone settings from nLite dont seem to save correctly on the iso.

I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing or if its a bug or not.

Main steps.

1. Integrate SP2.

2. Set fully automated

3. Select timezone Sydney/Melbourne

4. Create iso.

Additional information:

- I'm using Parralels VM software to test the installation.

- The installation also stops at some point and complains about a file called ICFGNT.dll missing. I think that is unrelated though.

I've included my 'Last Session' file if it helps in any way.

LAST_SESSION.INI

oh, sorry about my wording.

i meant selecting from the dropdown and then immediately create the iso.

i dont rely on the settings file at all.

i'm new to this, so i intend on doing things manually until i get the hang of it

hi there

just download the wmp11 slipstreamer program and run it

1. select the "wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe" installation file

2. select your windows image folder to slipstream into

3. click 'integrate'

i left the vanilla option as default

hope this helps

Hi again

Actually i´ve been using boooggy´s slipsteamer for quite some time,

so my mistake was not about that.

Anyway, i´ve figured it out. The timezone issue was happening every time i tried to integrate

windows update KB942763.
