  1. No, it's a clean version of Windows 7 SP1 downloaded from Microsoft's mirrors. Hope to try it out soon, I'm keen on formatting my laptop this week.
  2. Hey Ekttob, Yep, UAC is off. I am trying it now with elevated rights (run as admin) and still getting fail messages in the log. I'm running Windows 7 x64 and making changes to a Win7 x64 SP1 (folder containing windows setup files)
  3. Hi there, Love Buclean but unable to remove any files. The process stops at removing "img13.jpg". Using 01/04/2012 stable release (not beta) Snippet of the log
  4. i still wouldnt buy vista... i'd grab xp though!
  5. http://www.adobe.com/support/photoshop/ts/..._Deployment.pdf something i found which may be useful to someone who has the time and patience to test this stuff out i'd do it myself if i could, but barely have enough time to sleep these days =\
  6. hi there just download the wmp11 slipstreamer program and run it 1. select the "wmp11-windowsxp-x86-enu.exe" installation file 2. select your windows image folder to slipstream into 3. click 'integrate' i left the vanilla option as default hope this helps
  7. Add the next command in Unattended->RunOnce section of nLite to disable "Display simple folder view": REG.EXE ADD "HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\Advanced" /v "FriendlyTree" /t REG_DWORD /d "0" /f>nul Or paste the code in a batch file and verify first if it works. Thanks! exactly the sort of solution i was looking for
  8. I disable this option immediately after a fresh install of windows, and wondering if this could be integrated into nLite. Or wondering if this option exists and I have overlooked it many times. Thanks in advanced!

    wmp11 confusion

hi there im just wondering why wmp11 causes so much trouble with slipstreaming. ive done some reading and experimented with the process a bit already, and its got something to do with the WGA and the hotfixes included with it which patch the theme files. i know boogey's done some slipstreamer to help automate part of the process, but some questions arise if im updating a vanilla copy of xp (plain, no sp) 1. i cant install wmp11 first because it needs sp2 files 2. if i integrate sp2 into my xp setup files, i cant use the wmp11 slipstreamer 3. if i integate wmp11, wouldnt it negate the effects of the nlite patching software and replace the patched settings (ie. uxtheme.dll patch for custom themes) and replace it with one from the wmp11 hotfix?
  11. my bad. i found out it was due to WMP11 wrongly slipstreamed which was causing a whole bunch of problems for me. sorry!
  12. oh, sorry about my wording. i meant selecting from the dropdown and then immediately create the iso. i dont rely on the settings file at all. i'm new to this, so i intend on doing things manually until i get the hang of it
  13. Hi there Great software, been playing around with it for the past few hours. I've noticed that the timezone settings from nLite dont seem to save correctly on the iso. I'm not sure if it's something I'm doing or if its a bug or not. Main steps. 1. Integrate SP2. 2. Set fully automated 3. Select timezone Sydney/Melbourne 4. Create iso. Additional information: - I'm using Parralels VM software to test the installation. - The installation also stops at some point and complains about a file called ICFGNT.dll missing. I think that is unrelated though. I've included my 'Last Session' file if it helps in any way. LAST_SESSION.INI
