March 12, 200818 yr I was just wondering if anyone knew where to get figures about how many colleges and universities in the USA have deployed wireless access points on their campus, more sop in the dormitories and apartments. I'm doing a proposal paper on getting wireless access points in the dorms here at Rutgers University and these figures would help me out greatly. Thanks In AdvanceBrandon
March 13, 200818 yr check with the coordinator of your campuses Resnet, most universities have a linked resnet listserv for communications amongst schools in regards to student residential networks. If they would allow you to you may be able to find much of the information you need in the archives of the resnet listserv, or you could ask if you could be added or post your questions to the list.
March 13, 200818 yr Author thanks, that shouldnt be that hard since I work for the department that manages ResNet
March 13, 200818 yr I don't know if this might be of any help, but the university I go to up here in Canada (University of Waterloo) only has wireless access available outside of the residence areas.
