HTTPS access

Hey guys,

I had this problem before where you cannot access websites from IE i can use basic http but when it comes to some https traffice i get a blank page.

If i access hotmail.com i get a blank page if i try hsbc banking online get blank page.. . .

Cannot remember the fix for this any idea guys?? its 23:33 and im still working!!! i need some sleep im in the office all day tomorrow on helpdesk lol!!

Well, try CCleaner to clean the Temporary Internet Files, then restore IE Options as default settings, and try again.

fastest way is to grab dial-a-fix and run the repair on ss/https/cryptography. The long way is to vist http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=822798 and follow those lovely suggestions.

If you have Norton/Symantec installed and it has a firewall, uninstall it and run SymNRT. After that run Dial-a-fix and you should be able to access SSL websites.
