i am looking to buy a wireless N router.

i currently have my eye on the D-LINK DIR-655

i am open to suggestions but i do want to keep the price somewhat low

i can get the DIR-655 for $116 at BestBuy..

the only other intersting ones to me are the Linksys WRT350N and Trendnet TEW-633GR

I know the reviews suck, but I have herd really really good things about it. But they prolly dont even know how to configure it lol.

so im going to get it because you heard good things about it? lol.

from pretty much every review the d-link performs better. so i need to figure out now if the linksys has any sort of an advantage

The performance differences aren't likely noticeable. I'd go with the Linksys.

yeah ill toss in another vote for linksys. linksys = owned by cisco and cisco is awesome. plus theres always http://www.linksystocisco.com/ if you outgrow your Linksys

I love my D-LINK DIR-655!! No problems at all, however you are limited to 250 connections which could be a problem if you do a lot of p2p.

ive had my DIR-655 for a couple of weeks now and i love it. huge upgrade from my wirelss b trash, lol
