Have a look here:http://www.free-codecs.com/Codec_Packs.htmI use this one.http://www.free-codecs.com/download/K_Lite_Codec_Pack.htmI used this too, K Lite 3.6.5 Full version... but my icons all changed to the same kind which resembles the picture of a Director's board. Here is a program that is supposed to fix it. I've never used this program or had this particular problem. But it's worth a shot, unless someone else has a bright idea? Kelsenellenelvian
resembles the picture of a Director's board.Thats the icon for media player classic...You need to change your associations BACK to WMP or whatever you wanted it to. My suggestion? Uninstall, reboot and then reinstall while paying closer attention to the associations section.
weEvil
I'm going to reccomend MPlayer. Self-contained. No codecs. Its also **** fast, and it supports DirectX overlay like normal codecs do.Lord Mulder's build as it optimizes itself when installing. Use Runtime detection for your CPU to find all available optimizations:http://mulder.dummwiedeutsch.de/home/
