i just want to integrate hotfixes, updates and drivers my xp professional cd.but always oobe skipping and computer open with administrator account.iwant to create account durng istallation.. im not choosing unattended method from nlite.

The problem probably comes from the CD you start with. It might be unattended and missing/skipping OOBE.

my cd is original xp professional cd with sp2. it is not unattended. if i install xp from my cd oobe works.but if i modify my cd with nlite oobe does not work .

You might be deleting a file(s) that OOBE needs to run on.

If you nlite out the internet explorer core, OOBE won't work.

i dont select to delete anything. i m only integrating update , hotfix (include wmp11 and ie7) and drivers. but still skipping oobe.

Then it's set to FullUnattended in your WINNT.SIF -> Change it.

After WMP11 oobe not working properly.

KB894871 fixes it.
