Hotstream subforum revisions

Has any thought been given to renaming the Hotstream subforum to something more descriptive?

To someone new to the forums the term "Hotstream" is basically meaningless, admittedly so is "nLite", but as that has its own full forum, nLite gets a descriptive line of text.

Or perhaps the subtext for "Other Member Contributed Projects" could be changed to something like:

"Windows Installation Helper Utility, XPCreate, Windows XP Power Packer, Win2000 SP5 (unofficial)"

Any thoughts on this from the rest of the Hotstream community?

"Win2000 SP5 (unofficial)" sounds good to me.

Lets all remember gurglemeyer wherever he may be!!!

I have emailed him several times and got no reply back. He was very ill even while working on USP. Is his work being carried on?

I wish him well.

Hasn't been much feedback to base any changes on.

This is all we have so far:

"Win2000 SP5 (unofficial)" sounds good to me.

What should the subtext be?

What should the subtext be?

Taking a look at what shows on the Forum main page, none of the subtext descriptions are very useful, though Hotstream is the worst. At least with XPCREATE and Windows XP PowerPacker, you know they relate to Windows XP in some way.

I would suggest altering the main page display to the following:

Other Member Contributed Projects

App install & account prefs, Updated XP CD, All XP editions in one install media, Win2000 SP5 (unofficial)

Subforums: Windows Installation Helper Utility, XPCREATE, Windows XP PowerPacker, Hotstream

and the Other Member Contributed Projects page to:

Hotstream

Windows 2000 "Hotstream" Project: Unofficial Service Pack 5
