PC_LOAD_LETTER Posted December 17, 2007 Posted December 17, 2007 well if the drive is capable of reading dvds but it cannot read that particular dvd, i would look for firmware update on the drive before I called it deadyou can search for a update here:http://forum.rpc1.org/dl_result.php?kaj=1&isces=If you install imgburn (its free) you can goto tools->drives->check for firmware update and it'll tell you what you current firmware is and then send you to that site -its pretty cool

I would suggest that you post your question at the nLite section of this forum and that you include your last nLite session information. You could also just reinstall Windows XP the normal way, without using nLite, to see if your drive works properly then.
