Internet Disconnecting..

all of yesterday my internet was disconecting. i would restart the modem, some times it worked but most of the time it didnt. if it did work then it was only for a max of an hour. this morning it was still happenning. so i went over to our ISP and they gave me their latest modem.

well.. the problem is still happening but not as severe. the modem has been ruled out at least.

now i am wondering if my vonage router could me buggy. either that or something with out cable lines outside could have happened in the recent snow storm. the last time this happened i resetted my vonage router only and it worked..

any ideas on what i should test out?

if this is an ADSL line, get your ISP to perform a line test, if anything is faulty they will sort it.

pinging your router constantly with -t will prove if the router is ok. theres not much more you can do, it does sound like the line to me though :)
