trefaie
Ive burned like 10 different iso's with nlite, and none of them are bootable. Ive made so many useless coasters. Can someone please let me know how to make the disk bootable. I follow all the instructions in the tutorial, and then use the nlite to make a bootable image. The problem is, that the image is not bootable. Does anyone have a solution, as i need a slimmed down version of xp for my eee pc, and im wasting discs by the bundle
PC_LOAD_LETTER
Not sure about why nlite wouldnt be making the CD bootable but you can try makeing it bootable 'the oldfashioned way'http://unattended.msfn.org/unattended.xp/view/web/8/also, im unfamiliar with the EEEpc (even though i want one) but are you sure its set properly to boot off a cd?also if your running short on CDs, you might wanna install VMware or virtualbox on another PC for testing the iso without burning it. trefaie
thanks for the reply. I have tried a virtual drive and mounted the images and they still dont load. I will try to do it the old fasion way. THanks again
Ponch
What cd did you start with ? Have you copied the files on the root of the CD to your nLite temp directory ?+Next time, get a decent title to your thread.
Legolash2o
when your making an ISO with nlite make sure you dont click "custom" on the ISO making page.
