aztec Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 hi there i was wondering if somebody can tell me how to change the background that shows during windows installation (the blue ms background).and put my own background...thanks in advance.
bj-kaiser Posted December 10, 2007 Posted December 10, 2007 the setup wallpaper is a CAB compressed bitmap file, located in I386/setup_w.bm_. (If I'm not mistaken)

aztec Posted December 11, 2007 Author Posted December 11, 2007 dont know your set up,but mine i have a folder on my desktop with all the winxp cd contents in it.you start the application,click on file-open-look for winntbbu.dll in the 386 folder---click oknow go to edit-background look for your image click ok---click save.hope this helps
