mitsukai Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 i rememberd removing SFC or atleast disabling it.using the DTaskManager i saw that sfc.dll is still loaded, wasting resources on my pc.is it possible to add sfc.dll to the remove list, is it safe todo? And is there any reason why its not deleted even though i dont need it.
gosh Posted November 30, 2007 Posted November 30, 2007 sfc.dll is loaded on startup by winlogon.exe, you would have to edit winlogon i assume-gosh
mitsukai Posted December 1, 2007 Author Posted December 1, 2007 is minlogon maybe an option?also i have never tried minlogon. is it any good
fdv Posted December 1, 2007 Posted December 1, 2007 Yes, it's wasting resources. Don't remove it, though. Though Gosh's reply is short, that's a major undertaking being suggested.
Cti Posted December 3, 2007 Posted December 3, 2007 How do you get this minlogon and go about using it ??Thanks
