I am trying to update an old XP disk that i have with SP2 and all the latest hotfixes, but when i try to use the created ISO in Virtual PC, it comes up with an error, and reboots after it's done copying the setup files. I am not sure what the error says, since it reboots very fast, but it's something about not having enough virtual memory.

i went ahead and tried runnin the ISO in VMWare as well, and i get the exact same error.

Also, i tried installing XP straight from the CD, and that seemed to have worked properly. So, i am pretty sure nLite is doing something to change that.

so how much memory are you allocating to the various VMs that are failing?

I started with the default 128, which should be sufficent, but bumped it all the way up to 2GBs with no luck.

The Virtual HD i am using is around 10GBs.

Have a look at Tomcat76's hotfix list which you can find via the HFSLIP web site. These are all the updates you need. Compare it to your hotfixes and remove the ones which Tomcat76 doesn't mention.
