DNS Client service is supposed to resolve dns.But every internet-app i use works without it.DNSClient service hasnt been active for like months and never had problems (i cant start it because i get access denied, i think the service login is screwed).I can still use MSN, firefox, ie, no problems Edited November 23, 2007 by mitsukai Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

john_gallow Posted November 24, 2007 Share Posted November 24, 2007 DNSClient is important when your computer is part od Active Directory domain.In cooperation DNS <-> Active Driectory there used "dynamic" DNS items, ie. computer starts and Active Directory creates new DNS items for it.John Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
