Is it possible to NLite WinFLP?

I heard somewhere that WinFLP is like Vista or something like that, and personally, I tried to open WinFLP in NLite and it wasn't able to detect.

Is there a way to NLite WinFLP? If not, will it be possible in the future?

Thanks.

Info I found on WINFLP:

Microsoft Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs ("WinFLP") - is an operating system from Microsoft, based on Windows XP, but optimized for older, less powerful hardware. It was released on July 8, 2006.

Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs is based on Microsoft Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 2 (SP2), enabling you to upgrade to the security and stability of the Microsoft Windows XP platform.

Microsoft positions WinFLP as an operating system that will provide basic computing services on older hardware, while still providing core management features of more recent Windows releases, such as Windows Firewall, Group Policy, Automatic Updates, and other management services. Microsoft does not consider it a general-purpose OS.

WinFLP is a Windows XP derivative specifically optimized for legacy PCs. It supports running applications locally, as well as those hosted on a remote server using Remote Desktop. It can be installed on a local hard drive, or configured as a diskless workstation.

Windows Fundamentals for Legacy PCs will not be made available through retail or OEM channels. Microsoft sees WinFLP as an inexpensive upgrade option for corporations that have a number of Windows 9x computers, but lack the hardware necessary to support the latest Windows. It is exclusively available to Software Assurance customers. WinFLP does not include Games, Outlook Express and some System Tools, even with a full install (1.1GB). WinFLP was originally announced with codenames "Eiger" and "Mönch" in mid-2005. Just like previous Microsoft Windows codenames, these are names of mountains. The Whistler and Blackcomb peaks are in British Columbia; Eiger and Mönch are in Switzerland.

An updated WinFLP will ship after the first service pack for Windows Vista is released. It will be based on Windows NT 6.1, which is also Windows Vista Service Pack 1.

Minimum system requirements:

- Pentium class processor 233 MHz (300 MHz recommended).

- 64 MB RAM (128 MB recommended) (will run on 32 MB after install)

- 500 MB HDD (1 GB recommended)

- 800x600 or higher display resolution

- 10Mbps Network card.

Key features:

- Consumes by default less RAM than full Windows XP Pro

- Supports most XP applications

- Supports basic networking features

- Supports most XP drivers

- Updates older machines to modern security specs

- Supports DirectX

Issues and limitations:

- Dial-up networking and terminal based connections are not supported.

- May have compatibility issues with older programs (e.g. Windows 98 era software).

- May have problems with old drivers.

- Installation requires full disk format.

- Does not include the Joystick calibration applet.

- Does not include the NULL.SYS software device.

The one that is currently out should be more like a reduced XP, the Vista based one should be something belonging to future.

You cannot, because it is a XP Embedded-based solution. Even if you were to do it manually, the way it is packaged in the setup (there are 9 components in the same WIM, based on Beta 1 SDK), you'd screw up the way FBA (first boot loader) constructs the registry. Due to the way nLite and vLite operate today, it is likely that WinFLP will never be supported by either of them.
