November 22, 200718 yr Author I was looking for a file manager only. Explorer is giving me BS. Its been having issues with copy/paste with large[r] files.I didn't consider shell replacement too, but I'll mess around with that when I get a chance.Starting out with xplorer2. November 23, 200718 yr ^ If you're using xplorer², don't forget that the default keys for copy/move are F5 and F6. Ctrl+C / Ctrl+X would use the standard windows copy / move functions.

Its alpha now.http://windows.kde.org/The KDE-Windows PortWe are currently trying to port the KDE-applications to MS Windows. Currently we support only Windows 2000, Windows XP and Windows 2003. Vista support is underway.The preferred way of installing KDE apps under windows is the KDE-Installer you can download from here.

November 23, 200718 yr xplorer² is very nice, and freeware for the basic version. I have tried it, and it's not a memory hog and is quick. As I grew up in the DOS era, I still use an XtreeGold clone (www.ztree.com) I use it for everything - moving, copying, renaming, comparing files etc
