Remote assistance issue

Featured Replies

Hello

im trying to offer remote assistance from win 2003 to win XP, while "offer remote assistance" policy is enabled, im the admin, "simple file sharing" is disabled, and the remote assistance is enabled on the XP machine i still get the same result

"Access to the requested resource has been disabled by your administrator"

What should i do then?!

and by the way the remote access to the same machine works fine!

Hello again,

thanks to all of you fo replying me... it's a windows server 2003 domain, im trying to assist XP client, it worked smothely before, but now i don't know where the problem is!!!!!

Throwing a wild dart in the dark, that sounds like a permission problem. In gpedit.msc make sure no policies are enabled for remote assistance.
