October 24, 200718 yr I am trying to use the method explained by FireGeier on his site to slipsteam KB941649 into my copy of Vista Enterprise 32bit.It always returns error 1359. I have tried the original and v2 of the update with the same result.Anyone know what a 1359 is, or how to avoid/fix it?

November 7, 200718 yr vLite works..Yes, it integrates it but the update is not applied when you install windows. have you checked that out? i wasn't able to install it using pkgmgr or vlite.
November 8, 200718 yr This sounds a bit like a problem I have had. The context is slightly different, as I am using Microsoft BDD 2007 to prepare a Windows Vista deployment. Have a look at this link and see if that helps you:http://www.myitforum.com/forums/m_166236/m..._/tm.htm#166985The idea here is that KB941649 requires a \Windows\Prefetch folder to exist in the WIM image that you install. On the Vista DVD, I believe this image is located in \Sources\install.wim. The Windows AIK includes the tool ImageX which you can use to mount this image and add the folder.Like I said, I am not sure this will help you, given the different context, but this allowed me to integrate the update KB941649-v2 where nothing else worked.
