This sounds a bit like a problem I have had. The context is slightly different, as I am using Microsoft BDD 2007 to prepare a Windows Vista deployment. Have a look at this link and see if that helps you: http://www.myitforum.com/forums/m_166236/m..._/tm.htm#166985 The idea here is that KB941649 requires a \Windows\Prefetch folder to exist in the WIM image that you install. On the Vista DVD, I believe this image is located in \Sources\install.wim. The Windows AIK includes the tool ImageX which you can use to mount this image and add the folder. Like I said, I am not sure this will help you, given the different context, but this allowed me to integrate the update KB941649-v2 where nothing else worked.
