Sound Card Disapears on GA-K8NF-9

Featured Replies

My friend contacts me saying he's have trouble with his pc running slow and not loading games fully.

So i do a basic spyware and antivirus run on his pc and it works....... apart from now his built-in Sound has gone.......

he has a Gigabyte GA-K8NF-9

i went and tried to reinstall his audio driver but it doesn't work....................

any ideas?

is it enabled in the bios? can u see it in device manager? if so, did u uninstall then reinstall the drivers? where did you get the drivers from?

If you're trying to repair this from the same OS, try reinstall new OS to see if it happens the same issue. Check your CMOS settings make sure Onboard Audio still ON. (Make sure you have correct drivers ofcourse) If you've done all these steps and still cannot resolve it, you need to contact Manufacturer to RMA it.

Viruses and spywares does not attack SOUND AUDIO, this is hardware and driver issues.
