clidx Posted October 4, 2007 Author Posted October 4, 2007 (edited) I waited about 10 mins after wiping off all the 'goo' and all is fine.what i hated about the install of the cooler is the vr heat spreader and the ram sinks. the heat spreader wouldn't fit my card properly and the ram sinks wouldn't stick. i had to take the old ram things (they're not heat sinks but rather a thicker version of thermal paste maybe?) from the stock cooler, stick them on the ram and put the ramsinks on top of them. but temps dropped about 30 C idle and 42 C load, and i could push the card to 641mhz core/1512mhz memory gaming is also much smoother with the new overclock specs as wellthanks for the help!
