I've got an Athlon 1800+, 512mb ram, and a weak card... GeForce2.

Can Vista run on this with vLite? I've tried a normal install, and its hell. Too much stuff running.

Or is a better option to stick with XP/2003?

What are the minimum specs for vista?

(Yes I know there is no real reason for changing OSes, but I might as well get used to Vista early if its decent)


One of my machines runs (vLited) Vista with 512MB of memory, but your CPU and Video are rather weak so Id stick with XP/2003.
