SwedenXP Posted September 19, 2007 Posted September 19, 2007 Why use apps - just do it Yourself. This way also gives You more control...Start with a fresh (gold) original cd make an admin install and slip SP3 into it.Finnish of with a touch of ork.exe and make a custom .mst fileand have the install Your way.My special recipe is packing everything into a rar.exe file with the right instructionsall You have to do is click the file and everything install just the way You want it./ SwedenXP B)

(I guess you do it unattended during install of OS ?)/KentPs. It was really easy to slipstream SP3, like 3 or 4 rows to copy and execute, burn a new disk..no need for a "program" for that. Ds. kentk Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 And if you have Frontpage 2003 cd you can inject SP3 there also...Same install part as above and then "inject" MAINSP3.msp into FP11.msimsiexec /p f:\Office2003SP3\MAINSP3.msp /a f:\Frontpage2003\FP11.msi SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb
SwedenXP Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 @kentk - No Frontpage, just Excel, Word and Powerpoint - thats all I use. When and how I do the install? Actually I do a nLite install of Win XP Pro, bootand clean up a bit. Then I do an unattended install of all the rest from another hdd.The officepart just looks like thisstart /wait F:\XP\XP-Install\Office2003\Office2003sp3.exeWhich runs the winrar "exe-packed" package with the Officeinstall and commandsinside.Hope that this clears it up!/ SwedenXP B)

SwedenXP Posted September 20, 2007 Posted September 20, 2007 (edited) Certainly, but it´s just standard...Here´s a picture of it.You can run the file from any hdd, cd or usb and it will install to the right place C:\Program OR c:\Program Files depending on which language Your OS runs./ SwedenXP B) Edited September 20, 2007 by SwedenXP
