bassgoonist Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Apparently MS didn't have this stuff turned on until just now http://www.computerworld.com/action/articl...ticleId=9035478
Tripredacus Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 I wonder if any OEMs will have problems about this!
John L. Galt Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Umm, this has already been mentioned, and I wonder why the article says it was *implemented this week*:http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20061004-7898.html - An explanation of what this is supposed to be, from almost a year ago (11 months), andhttp://blog.washingtonpost.com/fasterforwa...ctionality.html - an *actual occurrence* of Reduced Functionality - from over 6 months ago. Now, if this article (which is based upon a 'leaked' email) is true, that would mean that, somehow, somewhere, Microsoft has changed the parameters of Reduced Functionality....
thebigbluecan Posted September 11, 2007 Posted September 11, 2007 Ha ha thats funny.......... One thing that does suck is this will probably hurt more users who actually paid for the software and not the pirates.... The pirates always figure it out. We'll see how this goes.........................................................
