jcarle Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 For those of you who are wondering what kind of board the P5B Deluxe is?Using nothing but a change of FSB, a little bit of overvolting and my Zalman cooler, this motherboard manages to overclock my Pentium D 930 (Dual core at 3.0GHz) up to a whopping 4.0 GHz. It was unstable under heavy load but under light load it ran fine for a good half an hour. I'm sure I could get it to remain stable at 4.0 GHz, but this was more for testing the potential of the P5B then really living at the 4.0 GHz line.
nmX.Memnoch Posted August 16, 2007 Posted August 16, 2007 The P5B line is awesome. I have a P5B-E (slightly lower variation of the P5B Deluxe) and it's one of the best boards I've used in a long time.
amit_talkin Posted August 20, 2007 Posted August 20, 2007 i own a P5B-Deluxe. its Rock Solid!!i got 3 GHz easily with this mobo.
