rickytheanuj Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 I replace 2 boot screen source files in i386 with my edited boot screen. And when i install that windows in Intel 845 & intel 865 system with 14" & 15" monitor it works perfectly. But when i install that windows in Intel 945 with 17" monitor, in the place of my edited boot screen it shows windows xp default boot screen. I don't understand why it is happen?, i already both of 2 source files. I think, that's due to multiprocessor.. or any other .......? Please help me to get ride of this problem.
damian666 Posted July 25, 2007 Posted July 25, 2007 hi there, yes you are right.that is because multi processors pc's, use a different file instaed of ntoskrnl.lets see, the other files are... ntkrnlmp.exe, and ntkrnlpa.exe.so try those and let me know ok?damian666
