problem in Boot Screen

I replace 2 boot screen source files in i386 with my edited boot screen. And when i install that windows in Intel 845 & intel 865 system with 14" & 15" monitor it works perfectly. But when i install that windows in Intel 945 with 17" monitor, in the place of my edited boot screen it shows windows xp default boot screen.

I don't understand why it is happen?, i already both of 2 source files.

I think, that's due to multiprocessor..

or any other .......?

Please help me to get ride of this problem.

hi there, yes you are right.

that is because multi processors pc's, use a different file instaed of ntoskrnl.

lets see, the other files are... ntkrnlmp.exe, and ntkrnlpa.exe.

so try those and let me know ok?

Yes, i searched that file in i386 folder which u described. but i m unable to find that files there

Mod only two files.

NTOSKRNL.EXE

NTKRNLMP.EXE

you can find these in XPCD under i386 folder named as

NTOSKRNL.EX_

NTKRNLMP.EX_

ok! i know these two files, and i also changed it, but it didn't works on multiprocessors board (intel 945).

how can i make it working in that hardware system.

Modify Two Same NTOSKRNL.EX_ NTKRNLMP.EX_ Into SP2.Cab file.

use iexpress command to create .cab files

That's ture buddy, But it's too common,

Yes, it works fine with most of system, but it will not work with multiprocessor supported board
