Sophy Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 I was finally able to get this software installed, but now I am not getting the option to "start a new project from an EasyShare software album." Kodak says I need to have Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 or higher. I have 1.1. Do I need to uninstall the 1.1 before installing the 2.0?Kodak also says I need Windows Installer 3.0. How do I tell which version I now have? I have searched and searched and can't find out where to do to find this information.I just got a new computer with Vista Home Premium on it. I hate it. Can't find anything. Can someone help me out with this?Thank you,Sophy
ripken204 Posted July 23, 2007 Posted July 23, 2007 i thought that vista has net framework 2.0 built in.. anyways you should be able to just install 3.0 without uninstalling previous versions.

Sophy Posted July 29, 2007 Author Posted July 29, 2007 Shawn: After I'd guess a dozen attempts to download the file to my dekstop and then install from there with no luck, I just ran the file right from the Kodak site and it downloaded with no problem. I was always told that was a no-no, but I did it out of desperation and it worked. Or at least I think it did. I have opened the software and everything seems to be in order but I have not actually tried to use it yet. I think I've been afraid to. Hopefully all will go well.Thank you for your reply.Sophy
