When i inserted my pendrive to my friend's computer it says, unknown drive detected but before this it used to show that Kingston.drive in my computer is also not displayed.Is my pen-drive is expired? puntoMX Posted July 5, 2007 Share Posted July 5, 2007 Looks like it burned up.Most of the time it´s b/c of static energy, so when you rub it in your pocket or connect it to a computer while you or the computer is "loaded" then you could damage the pendrive. Next time touch the computer first (Tip for every one who uses one).It could have been a bad one as well, it has 5 years warranty so get a new one.Don´t ask us if you can recover the files, you simply can´t...
