USB Pendrive

Recommended Posts

Suddenly my working 1GB kingston pen-drive is not working fine. When i inserted my pendrive to my friend's computer it says, unknown drive detected but before this it used to show that Kingston.

drive in my computer is also not displayed.

Is my pen-drive is expired? I bought it 7 months ago.

Looks like it burned up.

Most of the time it´s b/c of static energy, so when you rub it in your pocket or connect it to a computer while you or the computer is "loaded" then you could damage the pendrive. Next time touch the computer first (Tip for every one who uses one).

It could have been a bad one as well, it has 5 years warranty so get a new one.

Don´t ask us if you can recover the files, you simply can´t...

Just a small correction ;):

Next time touch a metallic part of the computer case first, if it is a desktop PC (and thus it is grounded), if it is a laptop (which is NOT grounded) touch any metallic part that is grounded you find around you, such as a handrail or a radiator or a massive metal object, such as a steel file cabinet.
