October 23, 200322 yr Say i have a Main Computer which connecs to the internet with a ip address of 81.106.203.220 and a have a laptop which is connected to the net thought a network switch which has a ip of 192.106.0.242 and i have ftp software on the laptop, how do i make it work for people on the net so they can use it. :/
October 23, 200322 yr You need to set the switch to forward the FTP port to the internal IP address. By default the IP address is 21. You may also need to open 20 because that is the FTP data port.

October 23, 200322 yr Get a ftp client like BulletProof FTP and set it your router to foward te particular port you decide on using. Then just give people your wan ip(the fist you gave out) and it should be routed directly to the rig with the Ftp app. |Drew|
