June 26, 200719 yr I think you'd need another receiver for digital cable. If it was regular cable, then a splitter would do the trick.

You can't use a splitter on digital cable unless you have another receiver, and you can't use a the satellite receiver on two TVs for different channels; you need a second LNB and a second receiver for that.http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Satellite_television#Technology
