xpmgr is a license manager for Windows XP and Server 2003 (and hopefully Office and PLUS!), inspired by slmgr for Windows Vista and newer. It can: Get the system's product ID Change the system's product key Generate an Installation ID Send a Confirmation ID Get the # of days until activation is required Get the # of days until the evaluation period expires, for evaluation copies of Windows https://github.com/UMSKT/xpmgr Credits to diamondggg for making the magic numbers, ICOMLicenseAgent interface, and LoadLicenseManager() function, which were taken from [REDACTED] and modified to work in a CLI. This tool supports all x86 and x64 editions of Windows XP, Server 2003 and other one-off editions. Itanium editions are not supported, as they don't have Windows Product Activation in the first place. This tool does not facilitate piracy. This tool is made for power users to have an easier time with license management on older versions of Microsoft products, before Microsoft made slmgr. All that xpmgr does is use API's that the OOBE (or Office's first run) uses.

Is it possible to install Windows XP on an HP Elitebook 840 G3?
GD 2W10 posted a topic in Windows XP
Hello, Is it possible to install Windows XP on a Skylake machine? I am trying to install it on an HP Elitebook 840 G3. I tried integrating an AHCI driver, but I got the error code 0x0000007b both times when pressing F5 > Standard PC and F7. This should be possible, as someone got Windows NT 3.51 on a Skylake machine. -
Hello, I have noticed recently that when I check taskmanager, the RAM usage shows as if it were using more RAM than I even have installed (1GB). Although it shows such high usage compared to what I really have, my computer still seems to be responsive and fast. I have also noticed that after a restart, the ram usage will be back to normal, but when it is left on for a few hours the RAM usage gets a lot higher than it should ever be. I have run multiple virus scans with Malwarebytes, superantispyware, and spybot with a clean report. So why is taskmanager falsely showing such high RAM usage??? Replies are appreciated! Check out the picture I have attached.

I have a Dell Optiples GX620. Pentium D 3.0ghz, 4gb ram (3.2GB Readable), 128GBssd, Windows XP Pro 32bit. I stuck in a MSI nVidia 210 512mb pci-e video card. It is DirectX 10 ready. Anyway of getting DirectX 10 on Windows Xp? I have 9.0c right now. I did use the forum search and all I found was talk about it and dead links. If this is a dead horse, I'm sorry, I just recently began trying to go back to Windows XP. I'm a bit out of the know..... Thank You.

Hello, I am currently attempting to create a dual-OS system on my gaming PC with Windows 10 Pro 64-bit and Windows XP Pro SP3 32-bit. I already have the dual boot setup between both OS and am working on finding drivers for the Windows XP side. The only drivers I currently have are the one for the SATA ACHI connection and the network adapter. The network adapter is a Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller, hardware ID: PCI\VEN_10EC&DEV_8168&SUBSYS_E0001458&REV_0C. I found a Windows XP supported driver for it and installed it on my system. After rebooting the computer, it installs correctly, and the network icon showed up in the bottom right-hand corner of the task bar. However, when I plugged in the ethernet cord, nothing happened. I tried using a different cord and modem port, still nothing. It does work properly on the Windows 10 side however. Does anyone might know what might be the cause of this? Here are my system specs if it helps: Gigabyte - GA-H110M-A Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard | Intel - Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor |Gigabyte - GeForce GTX 1060 3GB 3GB Windforce OC Video Card | 16 GB DDR4 RAM Also, as a side note, I would appreciate it if any of you could tell me where I can find drivers for my system for Windows XP. They're a bit hard to dig up, what with little official support for it. If you need hardware ID, I can give it to you. Thanks so much for all your help!
