  9. hey man ....you have many ways to do this but i ssugggest this for you.... for applying a theme u can use an answer file to do this ....add this to your answer file : ---------------------- [shell] CustomDefaultThemeFile="%SystemRoot%\Resources\Themes\VistaXP.theme" ---------------------- then place your theme in this address in your root cd ---------------------- $OEM$\$$\Resources\Themes\VistaXP.theme ---------------------- then add this to your answer file to know that $OEM$ is available in your cd ---------------------- [Data] MsDosInitiated=No [unattended] OemPreinstall=Yes ---------------------- for apllying a wallpaper you can set in your system then save it as newnew theme file with your favorite theme then place your wallpaper in this address of your cd ---------------------- $OEM$\$$\Web\Wallpaper\ ---------------------- for apllying a custom screensaver i dont know a standard way but you can do this : windows xp defualt screen saver name is : "logon.scr" ....you can rename your favorite screensaver to logon.scr then place it in your drive c .......then go to run type cmd then type "cd.. " twice to navigate you to drive C ....then type "makecab logon.scr" now you have "logon.sc_"......... overwrite it in "i386" of your XP cd sorry for my english ....it's not good I hope that this help you Good Luck man
  10. hi guys ...... yesterday i downloaded the last version of nlite(1.4.5) when i tried to do this work nlite don't work probably : -------------------------------- Integrate addons from " Hotfixes, Add-ons and Update Packs Setting Options Setting Tweaks -------------------------------- i don this : first i select some nlite addons that i downloaded fro htt://www.winaddons.com and add them into list then sett my options and tweaks .... when i try to install my windows ..... i found that the "Uxtheme" was not patched .... i tried many times and i got this problem ... so i resolve my problems like this : first i set my options and tweaks ..... then click finish .... and then run nlite again and integrate my addons. my purpose just was reporting some bugs or crashes Good Luck nuhi for your great work with your friends
  11. hey man ....but i think different ..... if you use an answer file ....you can place your $OEM$ folder in the root...and use it from 2 different way : 1st . - if you want to install a fresh version of your Windows XP ...place your $OEM$ folder in root then place answe file(WINNT.SIF) in i386 folder 2nd . - if you want to install via winnt32.exe (under another windows running) use this command after winnt32.exe ....it should be work for you for example if your CD-Drive is "d:" : d:\i386\winnt32.exe /unattend0:i386\winnt.sif explain of command : /unattended : say wiinnt32.exe that be run in unattended mode :\i386\winnt.sif : set the way of answer file . my recommended answer file is here for installing xp: ---------------------------------- ;SetupMgrTag [Data] AutoPartition=0 MsDosInitiated=0 UnattendedInstall=Yes AutomaticUpdates=No [unattended] UnattendMode=FullUnattended FileSystem=* OemSkipEula=Yes OemPreinstall=Yes TargetPath=\WINDOWS Repartition=No UnattendSwitch=yes WaitForReboot=No DriverSigningPolicy=Ignore NonDriverSigningPolicy=Ignore AutoActivate=Yes NoWaitAfterTextMode=1 NoWaitAfterGUIMode=1 Hibernation=1 [systemRestore] DisableSR=1 CreateFirstRunRp=0 [GuiUnattended] AdminPassword=* EncryptedAdminPassword=NO OEMSkipRegional=1 OemSkipWelcome=1 TimeZone=160 [userData] ProductID=XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX FullName="Farzad.M." OrgName="F.M." ComputerName=* [TapiLocation] CountryCode=98 Dialing=Tone AreaCode=021 [RegionalSettings] LanguageGroup=1,7,11 Language=00000429 SystemLocale=00000429 UserLocale=00000429 InputLocale=0429:00000429 [Display] Xresolution=1024 YResolution=768 BitsPerPel=32 [Networking] InstallDefaultComponents=Yes [identification] JoinWorkgroup=WORKGROUP [branding] BrandIEUsingUnattended=Yes Home_Page=http://www.google.com Search_Page=http://www.google.com [Proxy] Proxy_Enable=0 Use_Same_Proxy=0 [shell] CustomDefaultThemeFile="%SystemRoot%\Resources\Themes\VistaXP.theme" ---------------------------------- you can change tapi location and regional language and other setting by your self Good luck man
  12. i think that it's good program ...because it make the boring work easssssssyyyyyyyyy but yet have many bugs
  13. hi guy ..... my answer is only for addons that make by original setup ....like addons on http://www.winaddons.com... you can extract CAB files with a extractor like : 7-zip, winrar and etc. then get out the setup file from SVCPACK folder ..... then open INI file and find out that what switch is typed after the setup file name ... for example : .... this is for 7-Zip ----------------------------------- [general] builddate=06/12/2007 description=7z language=English version=4.57 website=http://www.7-zip.org/ [EditFile] I386\SVCPACK.INF,SetupHotfixesToRun,AddProgram [AddProgram] 7z457.exe /S ------------------------------------ the switch is "/S" now you can use it in WPI ..... also you can find silent switch installer for other apps from typing "/?' after its file name and run if from CMD .... or use "Universal Silent Switch Finder" Good luck man
  14. hi guys .... a few days i downloaded new WPI (vers 6.5).....but i got some problems .... and it's that when i add some music to audio player in WPI option .....and save it .....when click on install my apps ....the installer don't play the musics.... i didn't have this problem with earlier versions of WPI ...... i mean that i use the same way to add media (copy me musics in audio folder then add musics to audio installer) i don't give errors ..... just the player hang on and installer go on sorry for my English ..it's not good.. thx
