Great Job! I was going to use ImgBurn instead, because of Nero 7203's gargantuan size, but now I don't have to. All I want out of Nero is burn CD/DVD and I also use there "Tools" section. Scout, Home and all the rest is nonsense. Thanks again! Thank you! I temporally lost this post of yours. But now I found it again! Its the BEST Hotfix around - BAR NONE!!! I gave up finding it again so yesterday I figured out how to do it myself, and then somehow I found your post again. Weird. I've looked at all of them and nothing comes close to THIS Hotfix Update! Thank you, Thank you for this 7-zipped Hotfix update.

When you find out the solution please report back, thanks! I'm trying to remove "System Restore" all together. I NEVER use it. I want to remove System Restore and the "Help & Tours" files during the install phase. Thanks!

I think the recovery disk is different than the normal Microsoft Windows Media Center install disk. Your locked into just re-installing. What folders can you see in the recovery disk (Ex. \i386, etc), if its just a binary file your stuck. I had that problem with a Compaq computer once.
