I'm not really sure what your difficulty is, but here's some rules... 1. The Header measure is the space from the top of the header text to the bottom edge of the paper. 2. The Footer measure is the space from the bottom of the footer text to the bottom edge of the paper. 3. The margin measures are all the distance between the body text and the edge of the paper. So, if I have a 1" margin and a 1" header, and put something in my header, you won't be able to see it 'cause it'll get covered up with text.

Did you try Edit-->Links? Or, you can view field codes (Alt+F9) and do a Find/Replace.

Well, first off, using black as a background color is incredibly insensitive, and here's why: My email application is set to default to black font. If I get an email from you, and hit reply, my text won't show up. Make sense? Okay, so my thinking is that you're using either RTF format or HTML format and your Yahoo account is saying "no way am I showing this to you in html 'cause you won't be able to reply to it!" Anyway, HTML uses body tags. Go to a page with a black background and you'll see an html tag that says: <body bgcolor="#000000"> If your email application (Yahoo) doesn't use html, then it doesn't see the "background color is black" tag.

A couple of options I'd try: 1. Copy entire table to Excel, keep all selected, then go to Format-->Cells, Alignment tab and uncheck Merged cells. 2. Save the document as Word 97, which doesn't support tables within tables, which is likely what you've got there. Close it and reopen it.

I agree that having two templates is the easier way. However, this could be done with VBA. Select the text and insert a bookmark name for each of the two scenarios. Use checkboxes instead of dropdowns and put a macro "on exit" of the checkboxes that deletes the opposite bookmark. If you don't know macros, try www.vbaexpress.com for some really good help with that.

I'm only guessing...having you tried selecting what you cannot see in the message area? Perhaps you have a background that matches the color of the font??

That would be a problem 'cause Word forms aren't available in Outlook. Only in Word docs.

This can most certainly be done, Erin. I had a programmer write a program to create shipping labels. Sometimes, the people would ship 20 packages, or 100. They needed a label for each package, and they needed them marked as 1 of 75, 2 of 75, or whatever. When you opened the Excel file, you filled in the address and the start at and the end at, and the total number of packages, and hit print. Voila! That sounds even harder than what you need. Do you have sample files I can work with?

Copy the file from windows explorer into your FP folder. I would put it in a Downloads folder under the root or something. Then, on the page from which you want people to download, you can type something like "Click here to download the doc" and then select that text and Insert-->Hyperlink and choose the doc...

Hi, Jay. Those guys only support their PCs. They don't support software. If you get someone at Gateway or Dell or whatever that answers a software question for you, it's just dumb luck that they knew the answer. It's not reasonable to expect them to know all the softwares that are installed on their PCs. As for the link...make sure that your Status bar is ON in Internet Explorer (View-->Status bar). Then, when you hover over any link, it should display at the left of your status bar.

Sorry for the late response. If you have Outlook (and you're not talking about Outlook Express...) Duh, I see you said 2003... 1. Open the email message. Hit View-->Options and read the "Internet Headers" 2. When I place my mouse pointer over top of a link, I get a yellow box that shows me the *actual* link behind the text or image displayed. If you don't see that, perhaps you turned OFF viewing screen tips. I can't find the setting in Outlook, so perhaps it's in Word. Or perhaps you're just not keeping your pointer there long enough? If none of this works, try running Detect and Repair from Outlook's Help menu.

Sorry for the late response. Curious what happens if you just change the extension to xls? Still no rights? I mean... does it seem they have not rights to ANY csv file? Or just this one?
