  1. 1.2 will take some time... It will be a perfect slipstream, comparable with RyanVM's UpdatePacks
  2. @BAM: LOL I think you're right @Astalavista: huh? That shouldn't make any difference at all! Where does it hang? Note that after the reboot there will be just a blue background for a while... Nothing abnormal about that: it's just the DriverPacks that are getting extracted. Did you get a BSOD? @all: The downloads are working again!
  3. Would you care to tell us what changes you made to your Windows XP cd? Did you use nLite, is it a Multi-Boot disc, do you use the DriverPacks, do you...
  4. Yes, I know, I'm workin on it. If I only had a clue to fix the problem...
  5. Eh... the none-nLited disc will just work fine. nLite again without removing floppy support. I don't see how this is related to the DriverPacks? Moved to Device Drivers.
  6. @all 1) I'll remove the url encoding untill it works again. Why am I using URL encoding, I hear you think... Well, very simple, so there isn't any hotlinking. (or to make it harder at least). I'll fix it ASAP... Working on it now.. 2) The batch files execution problem. I guess I can solve this another way: edit cmdlines.txt, use a batch file that adds a RunOnceEx entry with number 937 (a random and high number) that executes the CPLs batch file (which controls the cleanup etc). That way you only have to add your own RunOnceEx.cmd file and you're done! What do you think?
  7. Well, in DriverPack WLAN and LAN there are also lots of identical filenames (certainly in WLAN...)!
  8. It seem there's a problem with unsigned drivers. Anyone having problems with those drivers too?
  9. hehe Thanks for the warning Didn't know about that, as I never have had a modem... Everyone agrees with buletov's statement? (no offense buletov, but it's just for confirmation )
  10. @all: I didn't make ANY changes to the website, I just updated the entries as I always have... I have no clue what's going wrong :s @BAM: well... you should also use 'command8= xplodestuff', then this WON'T happen. That's what it's for @Astalavista: Please ask that in the topic 'Unlimited drivers etc.', SetupCopyOEMInf isn't my territory...
  11. BTS DriverPacks BASE V5.04.14 Download Changelog: V5.04.14 (29 Apr 05) -Fixed: [DPB] all currently known bugs (this update simply includes the posted fix + a fix for the double entry of MSDosInitated=No in the winnt.sif file when no winnt.sif file was present yet.). Enjoy
  12. I traced the 'double entry of MSDosinitiated' problem. BUT however, in theory it's still impossible that there's a double entry... I truly don't understand :s New version of DPs BASE in few minutes or tomorrow...
  13. Do you have a Creative Audigy/Live! card?
  14. I'd buy 2 WD Raptor 72 GB 10k RPM hdd's for use in RAID0 (OS+program partitions) and then 2 200GB HDD's in RAID1 for backup purposes.
  15. @BAM & erik_demon: well, then it should work just fine... the cleanup is included at the end of the CPLs batch file, so that should give no problems at all?! You included the cleanup in the install.cmd file? Why don't you use a start.cmd file in the GUIRunOnce entry of the winnt.sif file that controlls all other batch files? That would solve everything easily. Or are you saying that I should move on to RunOnceEx? EDIT: clicked the 'Add reply' button accidentally :s @Astalavista: yes, but that's waaaaay back. As you can see by the reactions, everything is getting stable. @imdos: please post your hardware specs. Did you use nLite? Did you use RyanVM's UpdatePack? @mark49: check the fix at page 45 @DigeratiPrime: did you also suffer the problem with the restarting setup? Did you use RyanVM's UpdatePack 1.2.1 Full?
  16. Please post the changes you made to the txtsetup.sif file etcetera.
  17. Here you say it is the 'Install' folder while you said earlier it was the 'install' folder. Pay attention to capital characters!
  18. Would you care to tell us what error you got? Did you use the fix, posted at page 44/45 of the main thread?
  19. M1: copies all files: takes a LOOONG time: faster when installling from a HDD or from network. M2/M3: extracts all files: takes some time to decompress, but at the same time it's faster on recent PC's. On very old ones M1 might still be faster. On a decent pc (~2GHz), you'll have a decompression speed of ~10MB/s, which is faster than it will copy from CD in most cases.
  20. Please 1) search the next time; 2) check the main topic next time; 3) post then a new topic. Thank you. (This is not meant as offense of any kind, it's just to keep the forum clean .) Topic closed.
  21. You could check out my DriverPacks: alot easier. But maybe you just want YOUR drivers? In that case, visit the appropriate websites to obtain your drivers!
  22. @imdos: ok... If I only had a clue about what's causing it... @gilesw: that's wrong code, it's updated in the fix two pages back. You can find more info about SetupCopyOEMInf.exe in this topic. The 'ELSE' with SetDevicePath.exe resets the DevicePath. @Astalavista: yes, but I only have to fix the double/triple entries problem now... If I found the solution for that, I'll update it to .14 . P.S.: .14 will be very stable, so then you can (finally) add everything to your guide again
  23. @erik_demon: thanks But what do you mean by ? @DigeratiPrime: thanks for confirmation
  24. Did you download the fix on the previous page? Did you overwrite it?
