I see DigeratiPrime is already quite active on the wiki He has added several applications to the application switches database!

Check it out...
Windows XP PowerPacker v1.0 RC1 has been posted at www.betanews.com!
It has only been there for about a day and it has been downloaded over 1,000 times! And is rated 4.3 out of 5!!!
Good job!
P.S.: how long did it take to get your files verified there? At tucows it takes MONTHS.

Hmmm... this post may seem old. Does anyone still have the problems?
I'm another one who's been having this problem. I've noticed that the PreOEMInstall tag seems to be a culprit in mine. Everytime I set it to YES, I get the BSOD if I slipstreamed the drivers, or if I use a floppy, at time of copying the files to the HD, it'll just say unable to copy viam.sys.
As far as to why the OEM string would prevent this, I do not know why yet. Can anyone replicate this?
Thanks,
Any response would be appreciated
Could you please post your hwids, using my little tool save_hwids.exe. Please attach your hwids.txt.

As a 'sneak preview' (sort of , not anymore with this post...), check here BTSunattended.net's uAwiki.
Great work BTS
It looks better than unattended.msfn.net (white background, nice font, in one word : "the professional touch")
Man...now everyone is going to think i was copying you Bashrat....
I'll make a big banner on it, saying: "Alanoll is not copying this site!", ok?
;-)

I just wanted to ask, would this be for forum members only? I am asking this because I was wondering what could happen to the bandwidth needed if it became very popular on the net. If my question is not important then I will vote yes and if it is for forum members only, I will vote yes also. Just asking. Thank you.
DL
It would be for everyone.

But how do you get it exactly the way that it 'fits' the things behind the screen?

Martin, I was planning that for some time now Good to know that I'm not the only one with this idea!
I like it Martin. sections for cmd's, vbs's, auto-it scripts, switches, applications, etc in categorized, searchable format would be great.hehe... exactly my idea
As a 'sneak preview' (sort of , not anymore with this post...), check here BTSunattended.net's uAwiki. This sounds as spam, but it is not... I wasn't planning on 'revealing' it until I had added a decent amount of tutorials. Though there are quite alot of switches already included!
Please let me know if you like it and whether you want to extend or... feel free to suggest

Eh... many have a working disc here... Are you sure you aren't doing anything wrong??? I'm also quite sure I've seen this motherboard's nvraid reported working before.
Please attach your winnt.sif.

THROW AWAY those 2 19" LCD's. They've got huge, ougly pixels!
Instead, go get yourself 2 Dell 2005FPW's: superfast (16 ms) widescreen monsters, fantastic for graphics & design!

About which file did it complain? Did you modify sfc_os.dll?

This is a mass storage device! You cannot slipstream its drivers using the same method as for Plug 'n Play drivers!
Please read this tutorial.

No you don't have to copy all .inf file to $OEM$\$$\Inf... then you must have done something else wrong, I'm afraid

I'd think the second entry overwrites the first one and so on. Or isn't that the case?

Eh... a06lp? Is that you?
You MUST be kidding: a) you opened a thread that hasn't been posted in for more than half a year and B) you're asking an extremely silly question
Yes, I am ashamed. It is me.
Bâshrat, please help me. I'm desperate. I need to auto-install the drivers for my HTPC's A7N8X-VM/400 Mobo, and it wont work! (I don't want to run the utility.)
Eveything else on my drivers-from-CD works great, just not this.
Can you help?
Nothing I do seems to work.
Well... if you want it simple... Use my DriverPacks I don't think there are problems with any chips on that mobo.
EDIT: PS: you've got a reply to your mail too. Though it's got the same content as here

First of all, welcome to MSFN.org!
But.... SEARCH first! Use MSFN's search function and google!
I know you are new here, maybe you're even new to the concept 'forum', but please search before posting!
Because you're new here, I won't close this topic. But you're warned!

So....
Checked it.
Installed CLEAN Windows, even manually integrated SP2.
No change - the adapter wasn't installed
Don't understand what happened....
Any ideas?
It worked flawlessly before, I mean - there were no problems installing its drivers at all...
Though I didn't use it.
Then only one possibility is left: you must be using the wrong drivers... Did you download newer ones or something? Maybe you've accidentally downloaded the wrong ones...

Installing nForce v7.13 (nf4 Intel) on a nForce(1) system (AMD):
First attempt: BSOD
Audio only: OK
Ethernet only: OK
Will not try SMBus again...
Well, I forgot to mention that, but I thought it'd be obvious...

nVidia's 6600 and ATI's 9600 cannot be compared: they're from a different generation. So if you'd go for that price range, I'd suggest you'd choose a graphics card with a nVidia 6600 GPU or an ATI X700 GPU.

I'd go for an nForce 4 Intel Edition motherboard. It all depends on which further features you need and on how much you are willing to spend

what are the best computer speakers
in Hardware Hangout
Posted
THE best, without a doubt the Logitech Z-5500.
Maybe you could raise your budget a little bit and get yourself the Logitech Z-2300? Those speakers are also extremely good.
