  1. The thing is I didnt cut those icons. Ill try the ESC thing next time I see it. I think Ive seen it happen in Explorer too, just not as often. Explorer extensions? Is TeraCopy an extension?
  2. I just remove anything I dont want or need. For example* I dont need Disk Cleanup, Disk Defrag, Game Explorer, or screensavers. Also I remove any services* that I would disable anyways (or just not use) like Remote Registry or Task Scheduler. *These are just a few example, I remove a lot of stuff.
  3. I had to troubleshoot a computer running Vista Home Premium. When trying to read a CD, Vista just prompts me to format/erase it for use, although the CD is not actually blank. I thought of disabling cd burning via gpedit but Home Premium doesnt have it. I tried disabling it from the registry but it didnt help. Any ideas? (BTW I am no longer with the computer so I cant test the solutions immediately)
  4. I think I found the problem: Vista Business doesnt include the MPEG2 codec. Duh! I wonder if theres a way to install it though...
  5. LOOL MOOL MOIL TOIL POIL NOIL
  6. Well it plays in MPC but I dont know which codec its using. Also I dont think its a WMP11 problem; Shark007 did test it in WMP. Anyways its no big deal. While I was hoping to find the solution, Ill just use ffdshow for MPEG2.
  7. I have a video that when opened in WMP11 (with Vista's MPEG2 codec), there is no video, only sound. I thought it was a problem with VCP so I sent the file to Shark007 and he told me that the video plays fine for him. If I use ffdshow to play the file, then it plays fine (video). Thus the problem is with Vista's MPEG2 codec.
  8. Anyone maybe have an idea of what causes this?
  9. Well I can confirm that the files are present, but I still have a problem with MPEG2. I was able to register "Mpeg2Data.ax" fine but when I tried to register "mpg2splt.ax" I got this message:
  10. What component (or preferably file) is needed for Vista's MPEG2 codec? Last_Session.ini
  11. According to this page, Ultra2 LVD has 68 pins. However Ultra SCSI 2 & 3 also has 68 pins.
  12. That is correct. last session.ini has all the nLite settings you used last.
  13. TERA SERA SERB
  14. Any idea why the KB943729 msu file doesnt integrate properly?
  15. Install 1.1.6 first then install 1.2 over it. Also make a backup of wimgapi.dll just in case.
  16. Thnaks for the new version nuhi BTW for the service tweaks, can you change to behave like nLite? What I mean is you just double-click to change between Auto/Manual/Disabled. Itd be easier than using the menus.
  17. I think most of them will work fine on 64-bit.
  18. In the Compatibility window, under the Features tab, if you hover over an item, it will show you what components it will keep (hide): The application tab doesnt behave the same, but it would be nice if it did:
  19. Theres better AV, both free and paid.
  20. A few recommendations: Instead of the Creative sound card, put a Prelude. Instead of the LITE-ON DH-20A4P, get a Samsung SH-S203B. And for the Blu-ray burner: the LG GGC-H20L. And instead of the Cooler Master PSU, get a PC Power and Cooling T12W.
  21. Well heres the powerpoint viewer addon: http://www.winaddons.com/microsoft-powerpoint-viewer-2007/ If you want the others, you can just request them in the Application Add-Ons section.
  22. Spam filter: K9 or Mailwasher (free version)
  23. Could this "bug" be fixed: http://www.msfn.org/board/Execute-before-a...th-t115165.html For the execute before/after, WPI uses the absolute path instead of relative path (with %wpipath% variable).
  24. It worked thanks. Ok that explains it. Thanks.
