i have looked everywere, and i cant seem to decide on which one to get, i want to go completly fanless, i have a ATi 1600XT and a ASROCK K8NF4G mobo, so space could be a little tight. any suggestions

yeah i guess so.....butt bigger than one DVD, hmmm......8gb is a huge image, i suppose that would also be slow, you could play around with it and get it to a external drive

Regarding that, how about the "Create Spanned Shares" method, nuhi ? I've tried it once, exported the WIM to 2 SWM pieces and replaced them in a spanned share set from Microsoft. The setup routine reconstructs the original WIM locally on the target machine to be fair isint this a little bit pointless....becuase vlite will remove so many componants that it will be able to fit on a CD, and also im only 92 mb away from a 700MB installation source, but maybe it will come in handy for when the time comes to intergrate addons and drivers and things

cheers nuhi your a legend, by the way i also use msn plus live, but i still get the same error when i dont use it and also after i installed Vista this time, when you set up user name and stuff my computer crashed and rebooted its self after bout 3 or 4 minutes, im not sure....could be a vlite issue....thought i better let you know

but seriosuly nuhi....i cannot be the only person having this error....i mean.....80% of people with windows use office and WLM, so unless my computer is at fault with i higly doubt most people should generate these errors....and this still happens with office 2007

yeah...when i had my Inspiron 5150 laptop, that had a petium 4 3.2ghz, and video editing was a breeze on that......well has you have read i was thinking about going dual core but ill see.....everything is only a consideration.......

Evening people now as per usual i vlited Vista RTM, and im still having the same problems as with all the other versions, i removed everyting except VGA Drivers & Windows Mail, and i normally use Office 2003 being a student and everything i always install that these are the errors im present with, and after i install WLM 8 and everytime i change the status on it office installer kicks in complaing about everything which means i cant use WLM 64bit.zip

hang on..........s754 has two different core A64's, one is the Newcastle core which is 512kb cache and the Clawhammer whitch 1mb, the one im going for is the Clawhammer even though the Newcastle is alot cheaper as they say, best bang for your buck !! As for the turion im not going to bother with it.

i have now a Sempron64 2.2Ghz processor, and i want to upgrade it, i was looking into gettin a Athlon64 3700+ Clawhammer Core, but i found that the Turion processor is compatible with S754, can i use this in my desktop, i have a ASrock K8NF4G-SATA2, and if i can what are the benifits over the Athlon processor

hmmmmm............because i removed everything except...Mail...and picture gallery....and as soon as i put office 2007 or 2003 my windows installeer goes mad...........also it does it with WLM 8.1

ok....vlite has majorly improved thanks nuhi Vista might just possbily go mainstream on my pc

ok...filter stuff worked...im not sure....but after copying files through vlite....it worked fine
