  1. I get that same error on a non-vLited image with nothing removed.
  2. Think it happens if the folder on hdd that you select to copy to is not completely empty. That even goes for last_session.ini also
  3. I have gotten this also. Usually I unmount the iso, delete all files in folder on hdd and try again. If that doesn't work, repeat step and reboot.
  4. Hmm I didn't integrate any languagepacks..and still have the issue...
  5. Aahh right click, now why didn't I think of that... hmmm Thanks
  6. Hey Does anyone know if it is possible in Windows Update in Vista, to select/tick/chose updates never to be shown again - like you can do with Windows Update in XP? Would be nice not ahving 20 different language pack show up on the list every time when I have and never will ahve a need for them. TIA
  7. Ok, thanks a lot Nuhi Looking forward to that.
  8. Dunno if I removed something that prevents the search function from working? 9. The first one is the ASUS ACPI device. You will find the driver on your ASUS mainboard CD.The second one probably is the floppy disk controller. If you don't have any floppy drive device, you should disable the FDD Controller within the BIOS. DOH!... Sorry about the Floppy, BIOS had reset and I forgot to disable floppy again ASUS ACPI device... hmmm wonder if that can be intergated also... will browse the cd... Thank you for your help and your patience, greatly appreciated!
  10. I did try that. They just re-appear after rebooting.Have a look into the "properties" of the "unknown devices" to get some more informations about them. On the details tab for these in device manager, Device Instance ID reads: 1) "ACPI\ATK01\1010110" 2) "ACPI\PNP0700\4&B6AFFD&0" Device Type: Other Devices Manufacturer: Unkown Location: on Intel® ICH9R LPC Interface Controller 2
  11. Yes. They were not recognised.Try to delete the "unknown devices" and reboot. I did try that. They just re-appear after rebooting. I will try to install the nLited iso again, and try to install the Intel storage drivers from the orig exe file. The one thing I didn't try... Ok, that did not help. So the issue is prob not the Intel Storage drivers. Must be Intel Chipset driver integration somehow then.... hmmmm. Would just think, that installing them afterward from the original exe would fix that...
  12. Have you tried to manually install the drivers of the "unknown devices" by pointing to the Intel chipset (INF) drivers? Yes. They were not recognised.
  13. Should have written that I also integrated the chipset drivers (as PNP) in the same "nliteazation". And if I try to install Intel chipset drivers from the orig exe file aftewards, nothing changes...
  14. Just tried your wellwritten guide. I have the Asus Maximus Formula motherboard, which has an ICH9R controller. I selected it as textmode driver (that and it's driver twin) in the list of avaiable drivers from your rar file. Unattended nLited install went fine, but when I check Device Managger, there are two "unknown" devices for the ICH9R controller. Checking properties I found out that they are for "ICH9R LPC controller 2", but in the list of installed system devices, this also appear once. I then tried selecting ALL the listed textmode drivers from your rar, same thing. Any ideas?

    XP64

Ah thnx...so guess this bug hasn't been fixed in nLite yet.... Your suggestion is basically just opening IE to that WU page... but maybe that is also just what wupdmgr.exe does?
  16. -.-PhanTom-.-

    XP64

Just did an nLited iso of XP64 SP2. But for some reason, the "Windows Update button" in Start Menu doesn't work. %SystemRoot%\system32\wupdmgr.exe does exit, but for some reason it can't be launched? Attached my session.ini LAST_SESSION.INI
  17. Trying out WindowsServer2003.64 Enterprise and the following two hotfixes won't integrate using nLite: WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB942763-x64-ENU.exe WindowsServer2003.WindowsXP-KB923689-x64-ENU.exe Any ideas? Maybe a fix needed Nuhi?
  18. Ahh yeah, that worked Thnx1
  19. Just gonan repeat myself here, just in case it was missed in the purple pill thread on't know if it has been mentioned before or if I overlooked it, but the option to enter network settings in "unattended" section (like in nLite) would be very nice to have
  20. Sweet stuff! Soemthing to play with during the holidays!.... (besides myself, haha)
  21. Well, it is simply a matter of timing and curiosity:) Building a new machine within the next week (hopefully), so wanted to create a new iso for installation. And after reading about SP3, it is my perception that it, besides post-SP2 udpates, also contains some other kernel updates and system optimizations? These I would not get by simply using post-SP2 updates, individually or in update packs. I don't use WMP so don't want to install it. As far as I could see, those IE7 addons packs had stuff in them besides just IE7, right? And it didn't specifically say that they could install on top of SP3. PS Merry Xmas Eller glædelig jul
  22. Look here, IE-7 http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?...p;highlight=ie7 Ryan update pack.. http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?...asc&start=0 Windows media player 11 http://www.ryanvm.net/forum/viewtopic.php?...p;highlight=wmp Use em with the newest nlite. Have fun. Hu? All of them have stuff in them that I don't want/need ... But thanks for trying. I just want to integrate IE7 in to and SP3 iso. Nothing more, nothing less.
  23. Well, I tried and nLite told me IE7 integrated ok on top on SP3, but when booting into windows, IE is f***ed up, doesn't exist... Oh well, will just have to do with SP2 + a gaxillion updates until Sp3 is final
  24. -.-PhanTom-.-

    SP3 + IE7

hey all Just starting to mess around with nLite again In short, is it possible to slipstream SP3 and integrate IE7? If so, how? (I mean in the same iso)
  25. Don't know if it has been mentioned before or if I overlooked it, but the abillity to enter network settings in "unattended" section (like in nLite) would be very nice to have
