What if Microsoft is using the term Convenience Rollup to replace Service Pack????? IDK, just happy I don't have to download tons of updates.

Thanks guys, I just created an Win 7 SP2 DVD using the Convenience Rollup and KB3161608. Windows Updates works with no problem now. This was a PITA and has been going on for a while. Thank God it's finally fixed.

This is probably the best fix
http://techat-jack.blogspot.com/2012/09/solved-high-cpu-usage-of-microsoft.html
It still spikes 100% when scanning, but it should fix the update problem.

MsMpEng.exe is the culprit. Killing it and then updating the definitions seems to work. It was doing what svchost.exe did a while back, spiking the cpu to 100% crashing things. Thanks to everyone and especially heinoganda for the packages.

I got it guys. Ignore the posts above, I will have them point here.
Kill MsMpEng.exe in taskmanger. Then update the definitions. The system will seem like its frozen, IT IS NOT!!! Just wait, Everything will turn RED!! Ignore this, because once it has finish downloading and installing everything it will turn green again. That's it, that's all.

Note:
Have times longer Windows Defender tested when a current definition (starting from 13.05.2016) are no recent updates on the regular way found. In the Updater, there is the funtion of undo the antivirus update engine (RAUE) where that resolves the problem. (An intentional problem!)
The real problem is the case of an update in the backup folder of definion the files can not be overwritten. This problem is circumvented by the Windows Defender Definition Updater.@PROBLEMCHYLD
In Version 4.8, first or second mod. Version?
Both versions spikes the cpu. Maybe MS did it on purpose.

Can this method be reversed to add exports instead of imports, if so, how would we do it?

I'm just testing, you have done a spectacular job. I'll keep testing.

I agree, I don't hold grudges. I have contributed to the community just on a different level. No more fighting. Thanks.

Well, thanks for sharing the little bit of nothing, sometimes nothing is better than something. Have a nice day.

I already know how to rest in hell, what about the other instructions?

Posting instructions might allow others to help and speed up the process. You never know the resources one can provide.

WPA Clients are card specific. You can't use Broadcom WPA/2 client on intel wireless card. If that was the case, this topic and others like it wouldn't exist. Now if one was to hack the client to detect any card, that would be the only solution.

Sometimes you say and do questionable things. If I was wrong, I'm a man and can admit it. It wouldn't be the first time and it won't be the last. I'm human!!!!!!!!!!!!
