Same for me with vista business edition, cant skip user creation and setting for the computer's proteciton.

i think one or mroe service(s) are linked to "windows installer" service, i'll virtualy disable evrey service to see which one is the trouble maker. if someone know which one it is ++

now im sure its a service matter, can an expert in services tell me what services are needed for "windows installer" ? thank in advance

i did the virtual installation of vista, without installing apps, and now its working, i guess one of the apps is messing up the settings in "windows installer", is there a "windows installer cleanup" for vista ? any way to prevent apps of messing "windows installer" settings ? thank in advance. ++
