  1. Thanks, Super-Magician! Just what I need, but I am others will also benefit from the list. I wish these checksums would be included in the sticky topics about hotfixes and updates. Anyways, thanks again! Very helpful!
  2. Hello all! Can someone provide MD5 (or other) checksums of all hotfixes and updates for Windows XP SP2 (plus all the others for SP1a and W2K, etc)? I think it would be helpful in determining whether one has clean copies of these files...
  3. No issues to post. Just want to say that, so far, HFSLIP does good for my need and for what I include in my unattended cd.. Thanks so much!
  4. Please let me make sure of things here.. As far as I can understand RyanVM's WMP10 addon includes 911564 so I do not need it in my HF folder. How about WindowsMedia10-KB911565-x86-ENU.exe which is not included in RyanVM's addon? Will it be correctly slipstreamed into the source if I put it in the HF folder with RyanVM's WMP10 addon in HFAAO folder? Thanks in advance!
  5. thanks for the quick response.. yup, i wasn't very careful in downloading that KB904942 update not noticing that i mistakenly downloaded the one for x64. oops! will be more careful next time. thanks for that info. i'll try the test builds now.. will be back. thanks again!

  7. Hello everyone.. Our domain controller and several file servers, plus one SQL Server, are on Windows 2000. Workstations that connect to these servers are mostly Windows XP, several Windows NT Workstation and a few Windows 95. About 250 computers in all. Now, I'm trying to setup an intranet server in our network on a separate machine with Windows Server 2003. If I'm going to use it just as a web (with both IIS and Apache) and mail and collaboration server (internal only, no internet connection, with DeskNow Lite and hMailServer), what licensing scheme do I need or do I need separate CALs for just the mentioned purpose? Upon installation, which should I select: "Per Server" or "Per Device or Per User"? If "Per Server", how many concurrent connections should I set it to? Do we need a CAL for every user accessing web pages in our intranet or sending and receiving mail? I'm sorry I don't understand much this licensing thing. Please help me. Assistance is very much appreciated.. Thanks!
