hm, I cant get this to work... After pressing submit all I get is a error message in a new window in explorer that endtag "settings" dont match the starttag "unattend" </settings> --^ Suggestions ??

I have made an own unattended version of win xp sp2 and I have included all KB:s that I have could download by files,swedish versions. But when I use windows update after install it tells me to download and install KB905474 ! Is KB905474 not language specific ? The link of the file found in this forum has "enu" in the filename and that means that the version is english !?

I really need this, anyone ?

Thanks ! That was easy But do all KB:s show up here ? I think I have more installed than these !? When Microsoft remove KB:s not needed, do they "disappear" automatic from my computer and are they then not visible in add/remove programs ?

Is it possible to see which KB:s I have installed in XP? (they are installed by svcpack.inf, I don´t see them in add/remove programs...) /Kent

SOLVED !!!! I cant belive it, turned down the recording speed to 12x and then the disc worked !!!??? Bad burn....

if I include the path to drivers in OemPnPDriversPath in winnt.sif, is it not necessary to modify the txtsetup.sif then ???

Hi all ! I want to include the VIA and ULi drivers in my xp install cd. Is there som kind of easy guide how to, I have read the guides here at msfn and at greenmachine and I dont understand a thing I really want to do it manually to learn something...

The graphic setting for vmware works fine for me ! I set the resolution to 800x600 in winnt.sif and that works... I have version 5.5, but when I install the vmware tools the resolution goes down to 640x480 after reboot and then I have to manually adjust the resolution..

Sorry but it can´t have anything to do with that driver cause its a ati card in this machine...

Hi all ! I have searched everywhere for a solution of this error without success... I have made a homemade slipstream XP without any "help" programs, I only used nlite to make the bootable ISO. When I have run the cd on my vmware virtual machine everything is ok, I mounted the ISO as a cd rom. But when I burn a cd and try to install from that one I get a error at T-15, install can´t find ICFGNT.DLL... Anyone have a solution for this ???

The activation doesnt seem to work properly. After installation and reboot NIS starts the installation and tells me to activate I have done all your steps... Ps. I managed to shrink the cd source to 61 Mb Ds.

Hm, one problem solved... I had to save the file in charactercode 850 so that the ö in Administratörer went to a " But I have another question, now that I managed to make a user "Datorn" a screen comes upp when windows starts saying "Personal settings ....". That screeen did not come up if I made the user by the Win gui in the installation. (not using UnattendSwitch="yes" in winnt.sif ) Is it possible to make the logon faster or is it always like this ?

Nope, tried that and it does not work When the runonceex install scripts starts I get a error message: You need to be logged in as administrator to install.... I am suspecting something with the swedish letter "ö"... For instance is the admin account when unattended , Administrator or Administratörer ??
