  1. I had a 160GB drive with 150GB worth of data and I accidentallly deleted the partition, and then Windows XP created a new one, but DID NOT format the drive, is there anything I can use, perferrably free, which will allow me to recover all the data which was stored there? Currently I'm using a trial version of Active Partition Recovery, though it seems to be taking for EVER to analyze the drive... The drive is a 160GB SATA150 Hitachi Deskstar, and was formatted using NTFS... The partition was deleted through the Windows XP x64 Edition's text setup...
  2. Well, I figured out Firefox and Open office, and I integrated all the hotfixes, but I now remember why I chose to use the autopatcher in the first place, integrating the updates makes the overall size 100mb bigger, which lessens the amount of stuff I can add to the initial install process.... So, essentially by keeping the updates raw and then having the autopatcher go through and update everything on completion I'm saving 100mb.... So is there anyway to automate the AutoPatcher install?
  3. I'm taking the lazy man's way of doing this, so bare with me... I've downloaded the Autopatcher utility and rather than slipstream the updates into the Windows files, I decided to just let the thing run as a part of the RunOnceExCmd.cmd... Now, my only issue with this is that I don't know how to make it install silently, if at all possible... I also don't know how to get Firefox 1.4 to install silently, nor OpenOffice 1.1.4... Any help would be appreciated...
  4. Nevermind, got it fixed by using the 6.53 nForce drivers...
  5. So, with the assistance of the people in the Device Drivers forums I managed to get my unattend CD to recognizes a RAID array during text mode setup, using the nForce 4 chipset... Now, my problem is that I'm running two 36.7GB Raptor drives in a stripped RAID array, Windows XP will install fine, but on the reboot to finalize the setup I get a blue screen and an error code, 0X00000024 (0X00190203, 0X8637D868, 0XC0000102, 0X00000000) and for the life of me I don't know why... I figure it has something to do with the RAID array, but I don't know what... Any thoughts or ideas?
  6. That's exactly my problem, everything out there uses nLite as the program to strip the CD and do this, and do that, well that's all handy dandy but when it gets right down to it, there are somethings I just prefer to do manually... Also, thank you I was missing the *nvraidbus.sys entry.... Actually, no it didn't work.... My code is the same as yours, and its not recognizing the RAID array...... No, now its working... Sort of... Gettingan error code of 0x00000024 (0x00190203, 0x86370868, 0x0000102, 0x00000000)
  7. I know, and I thank you... It's just not what I was after
  8. Reason I'm not using nLite is because I'm trying to create Generic Unattended install CD's so that I can go in, make a few text level changes, few drivers changes and go from there.... That and I want to know how to do it manually
  9. G'day, I'm still a bit new to te unattended install area, but I've been doing pretty good so far... The biggest issue I'm running into right now is getting the nVidia SATA Raid drivers in text setup mode... I can get the nvatabus.sys drivers to work no problem because it sees the two raptors, but they're running in a Striped RAID array, so the install whouls only be seeing one... I followed the instruction from the Green Machine site, and looked in the txtsetup.oem file to get an idea as to how to do the same with nVidia, but that's a no go... I'm just not getting the coding right or something.... What coding should be in the txtsetup.sif file to get em' to work right for a RAID array?
