Well I'm trying to benchmark my system with 3D Mark SE but I cant seem to select Hardware Rendering from the pipeline menu. Software rendering is no good so I need some help on this.

Ok, I have th dualboot Me/XP and I'm trying to put on a password on my computer with the administration password thing. But the problem is that when it boots and when it asks for a password i can just hit CANCEL!!! I've had this before, this is a real lame bug. I used to have a prog for it but i think I lost it Any help/suggestions are appreciated.

I put one on my Radeon 7000 which doesnt come with one at all, I got the same one u got Tris. I took it off my GF2 which I put on there coz the previous one broke down on it (GF POS).

I started over twice now (installeing both os's) and now i finally got it to work the only thing I had to do to get it to work was changing the MSDOS .sys file to my F:\ drive and i also fixed the hard drive mess by disabling the D:\ hard drive when installing XP then I enabled it again and it got their old names back again. Thanks to everyone who helped me out here. BTW: C doesnt have to be ME I have XP on C:\ and ME on F:\

I installed XP from within ME then I got that menu and it only load up in XP not ME, it wil lsay insert different boot disk or something like that.

Ok this s*** is freaking me out, I got dual boot to work by re-installing both ME and XP now its workin great but, it screwed over my drives and it keeps on asking me for boot disk then, when i hit a key to continue it load up fine, but I want that crap to be off. My drives were like this: C:\ Windows XP (partition 1/ disk: SCSI) D:\ Extra Drive 40GIG E:\ Extra Drive 15GIG F:\ Extra Drive (Partion 2 / disk scsi) So i installed ME on F:\ and XP on C, now its like this: C:\ Extra Drive 40GIG D:\ Extra Drive 15GIG E:\ Windows XP (partition 1/ disk: SCSI) F:\ Windows ME (partition 2/ disk: SCSI) Id like to just have my C as my windows XP dir, hope theres any way to get this done, I'm really tired coz I feckin worked on it till late in the night and was tired when i started on it already and I get a POS result. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I tried those settings BW, I guess ill have to put ME on C and XP on D if theres no other way to do it with XP on C.....

No, i did that to check I installed them corectly. So what would i have to change it to if I'd like my Windows ME as 2nd boot and XP as 1st. Windows XP = on SCSI C:\ Windows ME = on SCSI F:\

I just changed that to check if both os's were running fine and they were after that i changed it back.

got done installing both os's they boot fine when i change boot sequence in bios but i wanna select them when booting up in thta menu but it aint working. This is what i made my boot.ini look like: [boot loader] timeout=30 default=multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS [operating systems] multi(0)disk(1)rdisk(0)partition(1)\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows XP Professional" /fastdetect multi(0)disk(0)rdisk(0)partition(2)F:\WINDOWS="Microsoft Windows ME" /fastdetect and its not working, when selecting ME it says that files arent found...

This is what i have done so far.... I kept XP on my C of my SCSI HD and use my F partition of my SCSI HD for Windows ME I was installing it till it needed to reboot during installation, so it booted up into XP again how would I get that menu to appear so i could select ME and so I could finish installing ME....

And What exactly do I add to the boot.ini file? Sorry, im a total n00b this this multi boot crap, never done it be4.

Ohh and does it matter that my 2 partitions of my SCSI hardrives are C and F ? or does it have to be C and D?

All my drives are fat so ill just make 2 partitions and install ME on D and put my XP Ghost backup back to C. Thanks for the help.

Got a question, If i make a backup of my WinXP drive and format my drive and make it a C and a D drive could I instal ME on D and just put my old C backup back to C again when i got done installing ME on D? Oh, and i know WINME blows, but ill only use it to host a **** game other then that ill always stick with XP!

I was wondering how I could add Windows ME as a second boot because I need ME to host servers for one of my fav games that lags allot with XP. Others who messed with all of the OS claimed that 98 would even be better but im sticking with Windows ME for this one. Any help would be much appreciated.

It will be quite hard to get DC down I think because the mp3's aren't on DC's server they are hosted all over the world, so they would have to shut down all of the servers to stop the sharing. And the mp3's that are downloadable are still from users, the hubs (servers) just connect you to that person like Edonkey. I claim AG to be quite lame when most of the songs on there are "protected" , but people will always find ways to get the music they want for free.... IT WILL NEVER STOP.....

Their shouldn't be, I'm networking 2 win XP Pro pc's, 1 Win XP Home, 2 Win ME. All connecting and printing fine.
