Windows WMF Metafile Vulnerability HotFix This week a new vulnerability was found in Windows: http://www.microsoft.com/technet/security/advisory/912840.mspx Browsing the web was not safe anymore, regardless of the browser. Microsoft will certainly come up with a thouroughly tested fix for it in the future, but meanwhile I developed a temporary fix - I badly needed it. The fix does not remove any functionality from the system, all pictures will continue to be visible. Some people modified the shell32.dll other icons etc. that way it can get bigger.

Without these running then your Media center will not run/ or run smoothly. The ehtray.exe is just the tray Applet but it is still a vital part of MCE. ehtray.exe is only to start mce with your remote. But it has the bad side effect that , when you try to control your volume with your keyboard , it has an on screen display ,in green. Most games crash on that. Ive noticed that "ehtray.exe" wich is a part of mce causes the green onscreen display. But when i disable it ( run .. msconfig ... ehtray.exe ) , i cant start mce with the remote anymore. Isnt there a hacked version of this? or another solution ? First install norton and register , then uninstall again. Then copy "symlcrst.dll" from "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\CCPD-LC" And make a SFX To install First the reg file , then the SFX unpacking the "symlcrst.dll" to "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Symantec Shared\CCPD-LC" Then norton..itself WORKS ONLY ON 1 COMPUTER, The one you copied the "symlcrst.dll" from.
